Breast Book is an Artist's book that narrates the steps to create a beautiful metal breast. Starting from a circular shape and a focal point (the nipple, present on the cover of the book), the breast emerges one page at a time through the hammering of steel. Each page is cold-worked and contains one breast. The pages can be browsed or pulled out of the cover and exposed together side by side so that the phases are clear: from a breast only hinted at on the first page, the breast is getting bigger and more defined page after page. The text "This book is about the creative process of hammer forming a steel breast" on the inside, declares the subject of the book. However, the book is not a manual about the technique of forming with hammer work, but is a sculpture. The 'book form' connects the dimension of knowledge and learning, with that of body forms and that of intimacy.
