The West 132nd Street Block Association Garden 108-114, West 132nd Street, New York) presents a sculpture exhibit “Encircle” with five sculptures from four artists. “Becoming” and “Cosmos” by Shantel Rose Miller, “Conceptus et” by Haksul Lee, “I write you a flower” by Bruna D’Alessandro, “Confession” by Natsuki Takauji.
The exhibition is a collaborative project by four NYC-based fellow artists, from four different countries, who have gathered together with a purpose to create a sanctuary for souls, in the beautiful community garden.
The title “Encircle” comes from the idea to draw an imaginary circle around the viewer, circumscribing a space and a time for enjoyment and care for each other. This exhibit is to welcome the community as the garden reopens in the beginning of fall.
