Press Release By Shantel Rose Miller:

The number it takes to make changes and bring awareness to what is happening with our home “Earth” varies in the amount and the background of where for each individual and their perspectives. What do we say in such a time as this to the home we have?

In this exhibition the call to recognition is through Art by (7) Women: Laima Sprangauskaite, Bruna D’Alessandro, Yeon Ji Yoo, Siga R.P, Natsuki Takauji, Claire Pauwels, and Rasa Pranskunaite. In “Conversations With The Earth” there are Seven stories encompassing a sanctuary for the ways in which we are moved, compelled and influenced by the Earth.

Edward O. Wilson in his book “The Meaning of Human Existence” wrote, “The human impact on biodiversity, to put the matter as briefly as possible, is an attack on ourselves. It is the action of a mindless juggernaut fueled by biomass of the very life it destroys.”

Curated by Francine Rogers; an advocate collaborating the important messages in support of the way in which we utilize the medium of Art to bring about acknowledgment for the Earth. We cannot ignore how our negligence affects the Earth. It is our life force which we are dependent on, providing us with such abundance, beauty, and grounding.
